Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American journalist. She is employed by ESPN as the SportsCenter News Anchor. Her first job at ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta was bilingual since the time she turned nine. It is this skill which helped her obtain her first job as a Univision producer assistant Miami. In Miami, she collaborated with producers for National shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then she was hired by her CBS station in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Her stories covered immigration as well as drug trafficking and various other topics on the Texas and Mexico border. Also, she was the Spanish reporter at the newscast of 5 p.m. and anchor and reporter on the newscast from 9 p.m. on English and again an anchor and reporter for the newscast of 9 p.m. in English, as well Spanish reporter for 10 p.m. Also, she was often called upon to be a sports or weather anchor. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallas' affiliate, where she takes on more responsibility. She covered all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. In addition, she hosted Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra on which she was anchor herself. She was advertised as anchoring sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She also played the position as Primer Impacto on UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta's parents hail native to Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on November 22nd 1985. There is an older sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. In 1992, her parents divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo, naval engineer, who passed away in 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. The summer of 2006, she took one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. Antonietta had just graduated high school, however she knew the things she wanted to be doing. The result was that she liked the campus and that the school had the program she desired. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university with a degree in media studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director of WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was an affiliate. It was he who inspired her confidence, and his passion for Journalism deeply touched her. As a result, she determined to meet his demands, never letting him down.
